Meet Teck Keng, who is on a mission to transform Singapore’s business landscape by connecting the nation’s top leaders through CorporateConnections®, a global platform for elite entrepreneurs and executives. With years of experience in international business networking and accounting, he understands the real struggles of local business owners who want to expand overseas but lack the right contacts.
Under his leadership, the Singapore chapter isn’t just about networking—it’s about shaping the future of business leadership through meaningful relationships, cultural excellence, and societal contribution. Teck Keng’s journey is as much about personal transformation as it is about business growth, and his vision is bold: to build a thriving, values-driven community of changemakers at the top 5% of Singapore’s business world.
What inspired you to bring CorporateConnections® into Singapore and how do you see the need for such an exclusive networking platform here?
I’ve been actively involved in international business networking through my accounting firm. Over time, I noticed a clear gap—many Singapore business leaders wanted to expand overseas but struggled to connect with quality counterparts in other countries.
CorporateConnections® exists to bridge that gap. It offers the level of support needed to connect top-tier business leaders globally and helps Singaporean entrepreneurs become global champions.
CorporateConnections® serves the top 4% of business owners globally. How do you ensure that the Singapore Chapter attracts and retains this calibre of members?
We have a thorough screening process. We conduct background checks, including reviewing financial records. To qualify, a business must have a minimum average turnover of USD 5 million. Globally, our members average USD 60 million in turnover.
But beyond numbers, we also conduct interviews to understand the member’s vision, challenges, and mindset. If someone meets the financial criteria but lacks the willingness to share, grow, and contribute to the community, they won’t be accepted. Culture fit is just as important as revenue.
The organisation is built around meaningful relationships, extraordinary experiences, cultural excellence, and being a catalyst for change. Which of these values resonates most with you and why?
Being a catalyst for change resonates most with me. In Singapore, many of our members joined CorporateConnections® because they’re change-makers—whether in their industries or for society.
Our brand promise is “Where Leaders Connect,” and leaders must drive change. You can’t be a follower and still lead. That’s why this value is so aligned with what I believe in.

It changes how you think, act, and communicate. It’s like comparing a regular car to a luxury car. Both have four wheels, but you only appreciate the luxury of a continental car by sitting inside one. That’s the transformative power of being part of CorporateConnections®.
Beyond business, CorporateConnections® is also active in philanthropy and community building. What initiatives has the Singapore Chapter been involved in, and what impact have they made?
We recently sponsored a major Chinese business networking event held at Genting Highlands. As a gold sponsor, we helped bring together around 200 business owners to connect, collaborate, and grow. It was a powerful demonstration of collective impact.
In terms of charity, we’re still in the process of identifying a cause that aligns with our values. Once we do, we’re committed to supporting it meaningfully.
As the National Director of CorporateConnections® Singapore, how has this journey transformed you as a leader and entrepreneur?
My journey as National Director of CorporateConnections® Singapore has been deeply transformative. Working alongside top-tier business leaders has challenged and elevated me. Imagine being in a room of 80 to 100 global leaders—just speaking with them sparks new ideas and shifts your mindset.

What is one thing about yourself that you wish more people knew?
Many see me as an extrovert because I talk a lot. But there’s another side—I value quiet time, introspection, and intellectual connection. I enjoy reading, exercising, and reflecting on life through books and religion. It’s not just about talking; it’s also about connecting on a deeper level.
What’s your vision for Singapore in the next five years?
I aim to grow CorporateConnections® Singapore into a 100-member strong team. These members will be the top 5% of business leaders—catalysts for change.
Together, we’ll make a significant impact on how business is done in Singapore and contribute meaningfully to society.
If you could have a superpower for one day, what would it be and why?
I would want the ability to help others rediscover their true selves. In Singapore, we can sometimes be overly focused on ROI and material success.
I believe more people should be aware of their deeper purpose—how they can contribute to society and express their authentic selves. That would lead to a more compassionate and inspired community.
