Meet Michelle, who isn’t your typical coach. She taps into the subconscious mind to help clients reframe their lives and unlock breakthroughs. Her main tool? A deck of metaphoric OH Cards that reveal powerful insights and open the door to transformation. Through her unique approach, Michelle has guided clients through emotional healing, relationship clarity, and even business innovation.

But Michelle’s work goes far beyond individual transformation. She sees subconscious coaching as her legacy project, a way to leave behind a lasting impact by helping humanity tap into a deeper awareness. Her biggest dream is to expand the subconscious mind of humanity, equipping people with tools to access their inner truth, shift limiting beliefs, and create real change. At the heart of her mission is a powerful belief: human potential is unlimited.

What first drew you to the field of subconscious mind coaching, and why do you use OH Cards as your main facilitation tool?

I was first introduced to subconscious mind coaching when a friend played the OH Cards with me and our group of friends. After a few sessions, I realised how powerful they could be. Personally, they helped me gain clarity and shift my mindset.

I felt lighter and better, especially when it came to my relationship with my husband. We had communication issues, and during a session, the coach helped me reframe my perspective. He encouraged me to “看到他的好”, which means “see the good in him.”

I started focusing on his strengths, like how he’s a responsible man who takes care of the family, instead of fixating on his flaws. That simple mindset shift made a significant difference.

I believe the subconscious mind holds our beliefs, values, habits, and memories, which shape our identity and behaviour. When we change these deep-rooted beliefs, transformation can happen quickly. That’s what drew me to this field, and why I’ve chosen OH Cards as my main facilitation tool. They help bring those subconscious beliefs to light.

For those unfamiliar with OH Cards, how would you explain what they are and how they work?

OH Cards are a set of metaphoric associative cards designed to help people connect with their subconscious minds. They consist of images that prompt personal reflection. When someone looks at a card, they naturally associate it with their own life experiences, and from there, insights can emerge.

I use a five-step card process with clients. They first describe their current situation, then identify the desired outcome. Next, they select cards to guide them in exploring possible solutions, leading to clear action steps. It’s a simple yet effective way to help people move from awareness to decision-making.

How do you help clients translate subconscious insights into real-life action?

For example, I had a client who wanted to grow his business. After a session with the OH Cards, he gained a new idea for a second business and created a clear plan. We also explored how he could help others by handholding them through their own growth journeys, empowering them to find their own solutions.

The cards serve as a mirror. They reflect emotions, fears, and possibilities that the client may not have fully recognised. Through guided reflection, these insights are transformed into actionable steps. I support clients in bridging the gap between insight and implementation.

I believe the subconscious mind holds our beliefs, values, habits, and memories, which shape our identity and behaviour. When we change these deep-rooted beliefs, transformation can happen quickly.

Can you share a memorable client breakthrough during an OH Card session?

A client carried deep guilt over not reconciling with his father before he passed away. Through our session, he reframed the story he was telling himself. I asked, “Your father is already gone—why are you still holding on to this guilt?”

That moment of clarity helped him release the burden. When I asked if he felt lighter afterwards, he said ‘yes’ and told me the session was priceless.

What are some misconceptions people have about the subconscious mind?

So far, I haven’t encountered many misconceptions because I always explain the basics to my clients. The subconscious mind stores our programming such as our beliefs, values, mindsets, habits, and memories.

This is why some people are naturally more positive while others are more negative. Once people understand that these beliefs were shaped since childhood, they realise they have the power to reprogramme them.

What is the biggest life lesson you’ve learned through this work?

Every session teaches me something new. Each encounter is a learning opportunity. Off the top of my head, I can’t name just one lesson, but I’ve come to understand that transformation doesn’t just happen for my clients. It happens for me too.

What’s your vision for Singapore in the next five years?

I don’t have a national vision per se, but I do have a vision for my subconscious coaching project. I want to expand the subconscious awareness of humanity and help people find solutions to their life challenges.

If more people can tap into their subconscious potential, I believe society as a whole will grow.

If you could have a superpower for one day, what would it be and why?

Subconscious coaching would be my superpower. I see it as a form of magic—a super skill that can help people shift their mindset quickly and powerfully. In just one hour, I often witness clients transform emotionally and mentally.

In Chinese, we say, “心转念转命运就转,” which means, “When the heart shifts and the mindset shifts, destiny changes.” That’s the power I believe in.
