Meet Master David Goh, a third-generation Feng Shui master and the visionary founder of Imperial Harvest. Steeped in heritage yet driven by innovation, he has transformed the ancient art of Imperial Feng Shui into a modern, empowering practice that has helped countless individuals and businesses unlock success and prosperity.
From CEOs to first-time entrepreneurs, Master David is renowned for his client-first philosophy and lifelong partnership approach. What sets him apart is his belief that Feng Shui is not about limits but possibilities. By blending deep ancestral knowledge with elegant design and scientific precision, he offers a transformative experience grounded in clarity, empowerment, and results.
As a third-generation Feng Shui master, how has your family legacy shaped your personal philosophy and approach to Imperial Feng Shui?
As a third-generation Feng Shui master, my approach is quite different from many others in the field. At Imperial Harvest, we adopt a lifelong client journey. When someone engages us, it’s not a one-off consultation.
We follow up with regular reviews and annual catch-ups to ensure our clients make consistent progress year after year. This is a cornerstone of our philosophy and a key differentiator. Another distinction lies in how Imperial Feng Shui differs from classical Feng Shui.
Traditional masters often focus on what one can or cannot do, which creates a very limiting perspective. Clients commonly ask, “Am I suited to run a business?” or “What kind of career is right for me?”
These questions often stem from a disempowered mindset. Rather than shutting down their aspirations, we identify the root causes of potential obstacles and provide tailored solutions.
Imperial Feng Shui empowers individuals to overcome limitations, offering a transformative and life-changing path. That perspective is deeply rooted in how my family has practised and viewed Feng Shui for generations.
You founded Imperial Harvest after graduating from university. What gave you the confidence to pursue this calling full-time at such a young age?
Since young, I worked alongside my father during his Feng Shui consultations. Back then, branding and marketing weren’t part of the industry—consultations were done through word-of-mouth, and the scene was filled with superstition and, unfortunately, many black sheep.
I often saw how traditional consultations limited people. They were told what they couldn’t do, which stifled ambition and personal growth. Witnessing this first-hand made me realise that there was a need for a new approach—one that could empower people instead of limiting them.
Imperial Feng Shui is grounded in the belief that challenges can be overcome and success can be engineered. I knew this philosophy had the potential to make a real impact, and I was confident that if I started from the ground up, I could build something meaningful.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked with many clients to make Feng Shui approachable and easy to integrate into modern life—without superstition or clunky traditional artefacts.
How do you blend centuries-old Feng Shui wisdom with the demands and lifestyles of modern clients, especially business professionals and corporations?
Before Imperial Harvest, Feng Shui was often seen as superstitious, low quality, and even tacky. We wanted to challenge that perception and show that Feng Shui can be elegant, luxurious, and relevant to contemporary life.
Today, many of our clients wear Feng Shui jewellery or place consecrated artefacts in their homes and offices. What sets our pieces apart is the consecration process behind them. We’ve documented and shared these rituals to help clients understand their significance.
Authentic consecration isn’t just about using a singing bowl; it involves handwritten prayer petitions, specially formulated imperial vermilion, and ceremonial artefacts. It’s a sacred and intricate process, which is why our clients experience real results.

Another misconception is that Feng Shui is all about restrictions—what you can or cannot do. But Imperial Feng Shui is not about limiting someone’s destiny; it’s about engineering a better one.
Can you share a few particularly memorable client transformations that showcase the power of Imperial Feng Shui?
There are several. One that stands out is Jeff, the founder of Big Tiny. When he first came to us in 2017, his business had zero sales and revenue. He and his co-founders were just starting out. After applying Imperial Feng Shui to both their office and homes, their business grew from ground zero to a $50 million enterprise. Jeff himself moved from an HDB flat to a semi-detached home in Serangoon Gardens.
Another inspiring story is Eugene from PropNex. With no prior sales experience, he transitioned from running a music school to becoming a four-time PropNex Millionaire within four years—all with the support of Imperial Feng Shui.
Then there’s James, one of my earliest clients. He started as a finance manager in an international school. Today, he’s the CEO of a global MNC. He’s been with me for over a decade, and his transformation is a powerful testament to the long-term impact of our work.
What are some common misconceptions people have about Feng Shui, and how does Imperial Harvest seek to educate and dispel them?
One of the most common misconceptions is that Feng Shui is religious or superstitious. That’s not true. For example, the Temple of Heaven in Beijing—an iconic structure representing Imperial Feng Shui—contains no religious statues or idols. Historically, emperors prayed only to Heaven and Earth. Feng Shui is not tied to any religion; it’s about harnessing universal energy to enhance wellbeing and success.
Another misconception is that Feng Shui is all about restrictions—what you can or cannot do. But Imperial Feng Shui is not about limiting someone’s destiny; it’s about engineering a better one. At Imperial Harvest, we start with understanding what clients want to achieve.
Our consultations include destiny readings, but these aren’t meant to define your fate—they’re meant to inform and empower. We always encourage our clients to focus on their goals, and we provide the tools to help them achieve them.
What advice would you give to aspiring Feng Shui masters?
There’s been growing interest in Feng Shui, especially with the rise of short courses and webinars. But being a true Feng Shui master requires more than just a few days of training. I started learning at the age of seven, shadowing my father through countless consultations and case studies before practising independently.
To aspiring masters, I’d say: start early, be humble, and never stop learning. In this field, humility is essential. Be mindful of the weight your advice carries, and always ensure that you’re trained in a legitimate lineage. There are no shortcuts—integrity and dedication are key.
What’s your vision for Singapore in the next five years?
We’re entering Period 9 in the Feng Shui calendar, which spans from 2024 to 2044. This period will highlight industries such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, art, culture, and entertainment. I believe Singapore is well-positioned to capitalise on these opportunities.
Thanks to strong governance and strategic planning, Singapore is already attracting global funds and businesses. With the right leadership, we can continue to thrive and maintain our place as a leading cosmopolitan hub in Asia.
If you could have a superpower for one day, what would it be and why?
If I could have one superpower, it would be the ability to time travel. As a Feng Shui master, I’m naturally curious about the future—what the world will look like 10,000 or even 1,000,000 years from now.
Human civilisation is only a few thousand years old, yet we’ve already seen immense transformation. I’d love to see how far technology and society will evolve in the future.
