What initially drew you to the world of social media and brand engagement?
I started social media because I’m a foreigner here, and I wanted to connect with people, as I have friends around the world. I think the best and easiest way for me to show them how I’m doing—especially for my parents, as they’ve always been away from me—is through social media.
By capturing my lifestyle, I feel that it’s like a diary for myself. As I did this, I slowly started gaining numbers, and brands began approaching me. I started working with brands, particularly in beauty and wellness. One of my special traits is spirituality, healing, and blessings, so I use social media as one of the best ways to spread positive messages. That’s how I started.
How did you transit into the trading and finance industry with SMT?
As I focused on blessings and healing, I realised that many people were struggling financially. To access beauty treatments or live a certain lifestyle, money is required. I’ve seen many women who wanted to live a certain lifestyle but felt trapped financially. They all wanted extra income.
When I met Collin, I felt that SMT has a very systematic way to guide people. It’s flexible and provides great insights into finance, and that’s when I started to feel that maybe I could work with him to spread this positive message to my viewers, giving them a tool to make that extra income that everyone desires.
How do you leverage your personal brand on TikTok to engage and inspire women to take an interest in trading as well as financial empowerment?
I think first of all, a lot of people look at my lifestyle and say, “Oh, your life is my dream. I want to be like you.” Many people have asked me how I achieved it, and I think that’s a big draw for them to learn how. So, by sharing that, I slowly started posting videos about how I trade during my free time, which inspired others to follow suit.
What strategies have contributed to your success as TikTok’s best-performing creator?
I think consistency is key—constantly posting content that inspires people. I also think live streaming helps with engagement. It allows me to interact with viewers in real-time, understand their needs, and source content that can help them. I believe people today want emotional support more than constant product selling.
That’s how I pivoted from live-streaming product sales to offering something more valuable: knowledge—specifically about finance and how to create wealth, instead of just spending money. Live selling often focuses too much on new products, and by the end of the month, viewers are left with no funds. It becomes a vicious cycle, and I wanted to break that for them.

Now that you are an ambassador with SMT, how do you balance your time between two different accounts—one that focuses on lifestyle and emotional healing, and the other on financial education and training?
My lifestyle account involves daily activities like workouts, travel, and hanging out with friends. These are part of my everyday life, and the financial education content is just an addition. I merge them into my posts or videos so that people can still see both sides.
Of course, with the support of my team and working with Collin, doing videos with him really helps me balance these two aspects. I feel that by showing people your lifestyle, they also want to know how you achieve it. That gives a good balance.
What are some common barriers women face when entering the trading space, and how does SMT help overcome these challenges?
I think the most common barrier is the fear of the unknown. When we look at charts and numbers, most of us feel unsure, and the media often shares stories of people losing large amounts of money while trading. This fear stops many from taking the first step.
Instead of immediately encouraging people to start trading, we should focus on creating very basic, simple posts or materials to pique their interest. I think that’s a better approach than diving into the more complex side of trading, as it helps ease them into it.
How do you think SMT can help in empowering more people through trading education?
After attending the course, I realised that SMT’s Trader’s GPS helps guide us on when and how to trade. It is very systematic, and the course material, including the reference book, is visual, which helps a lot.
The Zoom sessions every Monday for students are also invaluable because we’re not just left alone after the course. There’s hand-holding, and coaches are available for those who want to speed up their learning or focus on niche areas. I believe that really helps women who want to embark on this journey.
The Facebook support group is also amazing—it’s very encouraging, and seeing the success stories of other students inspires you to keep going. It’s like a team of teachers and students working together as a community, which is a huge plus for SMT.
Where do you see yourself, and what’s your vision for Singapore in the next five years?
I would love to see myself as a very holistic person, balanced in every area of my life—body, mind, and soul. Working with SMT has helped me achieve this balance. People might only see that I’m just doing ‘live’ streams, but I feel I have much more value to offer society.
As for Singapore, I hope that, beyond just making extra money, people will find true joy in life, be happier, more open, and willing to explore. I think people sometimes get so caught up in routines that they forget there are so many possibilities and beautiful things in Singapore.
I hope they will become more adventurous and willing to explore different places, as well as look inward. I envision people achieving a more balanced lifestyle and work life—living more wholesomely.
